EVENING VERMILLION LAKE BIKE
Join us for a guided bike ride along the Bow River and Vermilion Lakes Road. This is an easy -moderate 15km return bike ride. Ages 13+ (recommended). Registration required.

TOWN WALKING TOUR
Join one of our Fairmont Guides for a walking tour in the town of Banff. You will learn local history, fun facts and more!

TUNNEL MOUNTAIN HIKE
Join our experienced guide for a hike up iconic Tunnel Mountain. Take in panoramic views of the Bow Valley and Banff Springs Golf Course at the summit from this classic trek. Allow two-and-a-half or three hours. (Difficulty: moderate. Elevation gain: 300 meters (948 feet).

Come and engage with our Artist in Residence first hand in the Artist room on Lobby Level. These artists are some of the best in Canada.

history tour
Learn about the beginnings of Banff National Park and the Banff Springs Hotel. This 30 minute tour is led by a Fairmont guide and will take you through a brief but fascinating history of the area.

CAMPFIRE
Set in the heart of the Castle and the Canadian Rockies, our private campfire pits are the perfect spot for a night of family fun or a romantic evening.
Tip: Add on a s’mores kit or bottle of bubbly to make the most of your evening!

twilight walk
Join our Fairmont guide as they take you on a starlight walk. Learn about the National Park, hotel, nature and sky around you.

WHYTE MUSEUM OF THE CANADIAN ROCKIES
Learn all about the history of Banff and the surrounding Rocky Mountains at the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies. As a guest of the hotel, enjoy complimentary access to the museum during your stay. Located in the town of Banff.

WILDERNESS WALK
Take a walk down the Spray Trail with one of Resort Animators and learn about the local mountain landscape and wildlife that roam our beautiful local area. Easy walk for all guests. On Tuesdays our canine ambassador Bear joins the Walk and guests are welcome to bring their own dogs.

FOREST BATHING
Forest bathing is a mindfulness practice born in Japan, known as Shinrin Yoku. Participants are encouraged to stop and connect with nature in a deep and profound way through this experience. Led by a Fairmont guide, this two-hour group session helps to reduce stress and anxiety and improve overall wellbeing.
