Mount Norquay

Locals have been flocking to Mount Norquay, perched above the town of Banff, since the 20s. Just 10 minutes from town, this resort is optimal for beginners, whether riders or downhill skiers. The mountain has 28 runs over 129 acres of varied terrain. Zip down 1,650 feet of vertical on an average base of 10 feet. Play at the largest tubing park in Alberta here, then start your leisurely apres session out on the large sunny deck and in the sleek timber-frame lodge. Skiers and boarders can pay by the hour at Norquay, which offers the only night skiing in the Canadian Rockies, and also snowshoe.
