Banff, 5 July 2023 – Nestled in Banff National Park, Fairmont Banff Springs’ summer-long poolside activation, Banffchella, returns this month, transforming this historic resort’s indoor and outdoor pool areas into a vibrant landscape brimming with experiential art, painted indoor arches, lawn games, and a resident DJ spinning tropical tunes.
For guests looking for something hip to sip and savour during Banffchella, Canada’s Castle in the Rockies is offering something new this year: 13 Below, a terrace bar serving up house made and locally-sourced ice-cream, as well as signature cocktails alongside its million dollar mountain view. Featured at 13 Below is Fairmont Banff Springs’ new locally-made, Wildlife Rundle Gin and Tonic. Crafted by Fairmont Regional Mixologist and Diageo World Class Canada Top 3 Bartender, Sam Clark, this pre-mixed summer libation boasts Rundle Bar’s award-winning signature blue gin accompanied with a refreshing yuzu and lime twist.
