Fairmont Banff Springs Celebrates Forbes VERIFIED Responsible Hospitality Badge and 2026 Star Ratings
Fairmont Banff Springs is celebrating two major achievements from Forbes Travel Guide: earning the VERIFIED™ Responsible Hospitality badge and receiving recognition in the 2026 Forbes Star Awards.
At this time, the resort is one of only five hotels in Canada to earn the VERIFIED Responsible Hospitality badge—and is the only Fairmont in Canada and the United States to hold this distinction. Globally, just 10 Fairmont properties have received the badge, highlighting the resort’s leadership in responsible travel and guest wellbeing.
In the 2026 Forbes Star Awards, Fairmont Banff Springs was named a Recommended stay, while Fairmont Gold at Banff Springs received a Four‑Star rating, recognizing its elevated guest experience, personalized service, and signature amenities.
“We are honoured to be recognized by Forbes for both our guest experience and our commitment to responsible hospitality,” said Richard Cooper, Hotel Manager, Fairmont Banff Springs. “Our team is deeply committed to protecting our environment, supporting our people and community, and delivering an unforgettable stay in the heart of Banff National Park.”
These recognitions reflect the resort’s ongoing efforts to integrate sustainable practices, enhance colleague wellbeing, and deliver service that meets the highest global standards—without compromising the magic and sense of place that define the Fairmont Banff Springs experience.
