Fairmont Banff Springs Launches New Outdoor Concert Series

BANFF, AB Sept. 10, 2020 – Today, Fairmont Banff Springs has announced it has created a new outdoor event just for hotel guests. The Starlight Concert Series, an intimate evening featuring Canadian musicians and entertainers complemented by starlight views in a magnificent mountain setting, will be held at the Castle’s historic courtyard. The series launches September 11, 2020 and will be available every Friday and Saturday this fall.

The September Starlight Concert Series will be kicked off by five members of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra on September 11 and 12, with performances by Juno-Award winner Caleigh Cardinal, Calgary Opera Community’s Whitney Leigh Sloan and Juno nominee Nuela Charles throughout the month. Prior to the evening performances in September, guests can have a taste of the new Rundle Bar menu, featuring classic lounge favourites complemented by globally-influenced Pan Asian dishes, which will be available between 6:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. for tableside service. The fireside Belvedere Bar will be serving an exclusive Starlight Concert Series cocktail menu throughout the evening and includes the new Rundle Bar Gin and tonic plus Belvedere and Moët-Chandon inspired cocktails.

Tickets for the Starlight Concert Series are $50 each and can be purchased as an add-on while making hotel room reservations online, by calling 403 762 2211, or by emailing [email protected]. 80 tickets are available per event, with tables seating two to four guests from the same cohort.
