Smoked Right Hand Cocktail Recipe

Create an impressive smoked cocktail at home with our Smoked Right Hand Recipe

The bartenders at The Vermillion Room have created a cocktail to help bring happy hour home! Stirred, poured and smoked to perfection, Smoked Right Hand is the perfect cocktail before dinner, after dinner or even mid-afternoon. Follow the steps below to create your very own smoked cocktails at home!

Ingredients

  • 1½ oz El Pasadore Rum
  • ¾ oz Carpano Antica
  • ½ oz Simple Syrup
  • 2 Dashes Chocolate Bitters

Combine all ingredients into a mixing glass, add ice and stir swiftly until cold. Place a large ice cube into a rocks glass and strain the cocktail into the glass. Garnish with a dried orange wheel.

How to Smoke the Cocktail at Home

If you happen to have your own cocktail smoke box, place the entire cocktail inside to give it an additional depth of smoked flavour. If you don’t have your own smoke box or equipment, you can carefully smoke-rinse your chilled glass by holding it above the smoking oak wood or rosemary. You can also smoke the entire cocktail by filling a bottle with smoke before pouring in the cocktail, shake and serve over ice.
