Fairmont Banff Springs Announces the Banff Springs Invitational Pro-Am, Elevating Canada’s Women’s Golf Talent

BANFF, Alberta — Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course is proud to announce the inaugural Banff Springs Invitational Pro-Am, a one-day premium golf experience on September 1, 2026, designed to support the advancement of emerging Canadian women’s golf professionals while increasing visibility and opportunity within the sport.
Taking place on the iconic Stanley Thompson-designed Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course, the exclusive event will welcome just 12 teams for a rare opportunity to play alongside some of Canada’s most accomplished women professionals, including confirmed LPGA, LET, and Epson Tour players Leah John, Anna Huang, Alena Sharp, and many more. The event’s emcee is Cassie Campbell-Pascale, 3-time Olympian of the Canadian Women’s Hockey team.
More than a day on the course, the Banff Springs Invitational Pro-Am is a purpose-led initiative that directly supports the future of women’s golf in Canada. Event proceeds will contribute to a $25,000 professional prize purse, professional competition opportunities and mentorship initiatives aimed at inspiring and developing the next generation of women golfers.

Participants will enjoy a full day of curated experiences, including welcome registration, practice opportunities, playing a round of golf with the professional athletes, a fireside discussion and an elevated post-round cocktail reception. Throughout the day, guests will have the opportunity to connect with leading professionals, gain insight into elite-level competition and experience the game from a uniquely personal perspective.
