BANFF, 01 August 2023 – SCOREGolf Magazine’s biennial ranking of the Top 59 Canadian Public Courses has returned, and Fairmont Hotel’s grandest of fairway experiences in Jasper, Banff and Whistler have all been recognized on the coveted 2023 list, including Jasper and Banff courses making the top five.
No strangers to SCOREGolf accolades, Jasper Park Lodge Golf Club, Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course, and Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club have consistently placed in this Top 59 Canadian roster for the past ten years, and have been touted for beautiful design, bunkering and jaw dropping mountain settings. One hundred and four architecture enthusiasts comprise SCOREGolf’s ranking panel and judged courses on nine criteria: beauty, design, challenge, strategy, Par 3s, Par 4s, Par 5s, conditioning, and fun factor. A course must be rated by at least seven panelists over the last seven years to be eligible for the Top 59 list.
