Fairmont’s Mountain Hotels Take Top Spots in Travel Awards

September 15, 2021

BANFF AB – Travel + Leisure magazine has just released its World’s Best Awards for 2021, and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in Canada’s Western Mountain Region – Lake Louise, Whistler, and Banff – took home three of the coveted “Top 10 Resort Hotels in Canada” awards.

From January to May this year, Travel + Leisure magazine polled its readers on their opinions about travel experiences around the world. Hotels are then ranked based on facilities, location, service, food, and overall value.  Claiming the #6 position on the “Top 10 Resort Hotels in Canada” list was the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise while the luxurious ski in/ski out Fairmont Chateau Whistler was #8 and Canada’s castle in the Rockies, Fairmont Banff Springs, was ranked #9. Furthermore, sister-property Fairmont Palliser was also recognized as one of the ten “Best City Hotels in Canada”.

“These awards acknowledge the hard work, dedication, and genuine passion for hospitality of each and every Fairmont employee in our region, and I’m immensely proud of their efforts, particularly given the challenging year our industry had,” “said Gregor Resch, Regional Vice President, Canada’s Western Mountain Region, and General Manager, Fairmont Banff Springs. “We would like to thank the readers and voters of Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards for recognizing our teams’ efforts.”

Fairmont Hotels and Resorts in Canada’s Western Mountain Region is actively recruiting to add members to its award-winning team. Further details on available positions plus benefits, perks and lifestyle information can be found online at FairmontMTNjobs.com.
