Al Fresco Dining Returns To Fairmont Banff Springs

June 1, 2021

BANFF, AB – With the easing of dining restrictions in Alberta, Fairmont Banff Springs has announced al fresco dining will be returning to the castle today just in time for the hotel’s 133rd birthday.

The Vermillion Room

Located on the Upper Bow Valley Terrace and the Vermilion Lawn, The Vermillion Room’s patio is the ideal location to take in the fresh alpine air and panoramic views while indulging in an inviting menu. With features such as the PEI Mussels, Alberta Beef Tenderloin and the Banff Springs Cheeseburger matched with an intriguing wine list, unique cocktails and local craft beer, the venue will suit any patio-goer’s palette.

STOCK Food & Drink

Surrounded by the hotel’s greenhouse and all-day sunshine, STOCK Food & Drink offers a serene setting for al fresco dining at the hotel. The venue serves unique barista creations, a selection of hand-crafted cocktails and artisanal features to deliver the perfect patio experience from sunrise to sunset.

Guests can also enjoy STOCK to-go and Fairmont’s new Signature Bottled Cocktails wherever their adventure may take them.

The Lookout Patio

The picturesque Lookout Patio will return just in time for patio season, serving some of the best views in the Bow Valley paired with fresh and flavourful cuisine. With Mexican fare, margaritas and mescal on the menu, the Lookout Patio will set the tone for an incredible al fresco dining experience. The seasonal venue will open on Friday, June 4, 2021.

The Waldhaus Pub & Biergarten

Guests can take in the surrounding views of The Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course, Spray River and the Canadian Rockies as they indulge in German-inspired cuisine at the Waldhaus Pub & Biergarten. With beloved favourites such as the Waldhaus Pork Schnitzel and the Würst Plate, plus Radeberger and Hacker-Pschorr on tap, guests will be yodeling all the way home once their pub cravings are satisfied. The Waldhaus Pub & Biergarten will reopen on Friday, June 11, 2021.
