New Fall Events and Programming

BANFF, AB – Fairmont Banff Springs has unveiled an exciting lineup of new events and programming this fall at Canada’s “Castle in the Rockies”.

Oktoberfest at the Waldhaus Pub & Biergarten

The world-famous Bavarian festival, Oktoberfest, will be hosted at the Waldhaus Pub & Biergarten this month from September 24-25. The celebration will feature live music from Alpen Schatz Band, The Jordan Rody Band and DJ Mikey De Roza, plus a Bavarian-inspired menu paired with Paulaner and Hacker-Pschorr beer.

Banff Pride

To celebrate Banff Pride, Brooke Lynn Hytesstar of RuPaul’s Drag Race and host of Canada’s Drag Race, will be hosting the Banff Pride Kick-off Party in the Rundle Bar on October 2 and a Drag Brunch in the Alhambra Ballroom on October 3.

Local Alberta queens Gogo Fetch, Jesse Hannibal, Chelsea Horrendous and transgender Comedian Cindy Rivers will also be performing at the events, along with Aimee Beaudoin as emcee. CAD $5 from each ticket will be donated to the Banff Pride Society.

Thanksgiving at the Castle

The Vermillion Room will be serving a three-course Thanksgiving feast from October 8-11, as well as an extravagant Thanksgiving Sunday Brunch on October 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Thanksgiving-themed Afternoon Tea will also be available October 8-11 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and can be booked here.

Wild Wellness

Fairmont Banff Springs has partnered with IMPACT Magazine to bring Canada’s Top Fitness Trainers to the Castle throughout the month of November with their new “Wild Wellness” package.

Guests will have the opportunity to train with Tommy Europe from November 1-4, Brent Bishop from November 8-11 and Tish Duffy from November 15-18, with two daily sessions available and evening fireside talks hosted by IMPACT to discuss all things fitness and wellness.

The package also includes luxury accommodation, two-hour spa access at the Fairmont Spa and a take-home yoga mat. ‘Wild Wellness” can be booked here or as an add-on with existing room reservations.

Fall Resort Activity Programming

Fairmont Banff Springs’ Resort Activity animators have unveiled new private experiences for hotel guests this fall. From a private Larch Madness adventure to see the golden foliage to a Night Sky Experience to take in one of the best stargazing destinations in Canada, there are endless opportunities to discover bucket list experiences in Banff National Park this fall.
